Might be getting a bearded dragon from the same person I got my crestie from. He currently lives in a 3x1x2ft, with a cave a plant and a water bowl. he doesn't really eat and has a constant black beard. Could this be because of minimal space and lack of things to do? I don't believe he has anything wrong medically as he is healthy but rather grumpy.
Thinking of getting a 6ftx2x2. People have told me why would you get that big when they can live in a 4ft tank. This would be my first beardy so as many tips as can would be useful on top of my own research :3

However, if his beard is dark all the time he could have an internal issue.
However if you don’t see issues with eating or using the bathroom, discoloring or blood, or loose stools I would suggest the first idea could be the reason.
As soon as they get up from brumation they tend to be in that mood lol
I would suggest a yearly exotic vet to check him out. It’s about 98$ for a routine visit
Issues can be solved quickly if you take action to prevent them!
