Yall, im so happy. My hoggie finally decided to eat for me. I guess he just didnt like the previous food I got for him.
Tried a different type of rodent and he immediately perked up and went for it.
Was gonna try the paperbag method to get him to eat but so glad I didnt have too! He eats so politely too. No snatching or striking, just calmly opens mouth and inserts mouse LOL
So I need some help with my Western Hoggie.
Hes in long tank, not sure of gallon size
About 2 inches of aspen
Water bowl, wood hide
Hes made tons of tunnels in the aspen
His temps are 92 on the hot side give or take
And around 73 for the cool side
Ive had him for about 3 months now and hes only eaten once since about Sept/Oct where i got him from a reptile show. Now he refuses to eat and even acts afraid of the rat pup.
Attempting to feed f/t rat pups
Can anyone help with suggestions
