The viper boa (Candoia aspera) is a 15-28” long, terrestrial, nocturnal snake native to eastern Indonesia and New Guinea. Their preferred habitat is rainforest, but they can also be found on coconut/oil palm plantations, where they wait for prey amongst the mud and leaf litter.

The chahoua gecko (Mniarogekko chahoua) is a 10-12” long arboreal, a nocturnal lizard native to New Caledonia. They prefer the tropical forests of Grande Terre and the Isle of Pines for habitat, where they can usually be found in the forest understory.

The Brazilian rainbow boa (Epicrates cenchria cenchria) is a 5-7’ long, semi-arboreal, nocturnal snake native to the Amazon River Basin.

Emerald tree boas (Corallus caninus) are 4-9’ long, arboreal snakes native to the Guyana and Amazon Basin regions of South America.

Carpet pythons (Morelia sp.) are a group of 5-9’ long, semi-arboreal snakes native to New Guinea and most of Australia.
