I adore this animal, her name is Trygg. When I got her back in 2020 as a hatchling I was assured that she had taken a few meals. She did not for me. All of my other snakes were eating fine (even the two other animals I got from the same breeder at the same time as her, 1 a clutchmate.)
Tried live rats, hated it.
Tried live mice, hated those.
Tried live ASF, hated those too.
She lost 10% of her tiny body weight so I assist fed her (which she was totally receptive to, somehow.)
After that she took a live rat fuzzy off of tongs.
The next week she took another of the same, off of tongs.
Third week, again.
The following week I gave her a f/t fuzzy heated to 115 - ate it and hasn't missed a meal since then unless she's shedding, all f/t.
This process took 7 months and I have not had to repeat it with any animal since (**knocks wood.)
I said while I was going through it all that I would sell her as soon as I replaced her, now I would never let her go. She is always curious and ready to come out of her tub to explore or just chill with me.
