The Vermont Herpetofauna and Nature Center (HNC)
is a not for profit organization, focused on the education about, proper care and housing, of reptiles, amphibians and arachnids kept as pets, as well as the education and conservation of our native species.

HNC is governed and run by a voluntary Board of Directors.

Our Vision
A facility where youth and adults can come and view/handle and learn about reptiles/amphibians/ insects and fish; native and exotic.

A place where hobbyists can learn new skills and husbandry practices and purchase supplies. A place where unwanted animals can be rehabilitated and adopted into their loving forever homes.
