We are closely approaching Aioli's 2nd birthday! I imagine we didnt get him long after he hatched, but as he was a surprise, I go by his "gotcha" day. I now know that Aioli is a boy, and I've learned a lot about these little critters! He is very well loved, and I believe he's made us keepers for life! The plant in "set up at home" picture is the same exact plant on the right side of his tank in the current picture!
July 31, 2021: "I've been waiting to post, just in case the little one didn't make it, but it seems to be thriving! This little thing has been munching on a bunch of flightless fruitflies the past few days and their color has darkened a lot and the patterns are so pretty.
This TINY anole was brought in by a Lowes employee that found it in a shipment of plants from Florida. In the arrival picture, he is in a normal 16.9 oz water bottle. They weren't sure what kind of lizard or how to care for it so naturally I offered to take it in. They may not be a permanent member, but I have already fallen in love with thier cute face. It's a Brown Anole."
